Provenance:A perhaps unique pattern made with the classic colors favored in pa mennonite area quilts of the late 19th century. Only one print - the classic watermelon rose color; all other strips are the rich deep solid color cottons of the region. Item's origin is PA. Arrayed in six symmetrical panels with narrow short strips placed on the diagonal, the panels joined with a solid color narrow 'sashing' in excellent untouched condition; minor age patina. Fabrics very sturdy and colors fresh as new. Excellent like new condition.
