This Vintage Mid-Century General Electric T34FS 2 Slice Toaster Canadian Made is a beautiful example of an original General Electric Toaster from the 1950's. The exterior is bright chrome and Bakelite, including the handle. There is a lever to adjust darkness of the toast and a lever to put the toast into position. The original power cord is very supple and not dry and crumb tray relatively clean and the door opens and closes as it should. The handle pushes down and clicks into place while the bread is toasting. I made toast in it and it worked perfectly- It runs hotter than modern toasters, so lever to set color of toast needs to be a little to the lighter side instead of the middle. You will need to adjust to your preference. It does toast the bread nicely on both sides.
