British, 19th century,ÿeach lidded urn form decorated with leafy gilt flourishes and painted with an octagonal reserve of sea shells, coral, and aquatic plants, possibly by Samuel Smith, on aÿgreen fish egg ground, raised on tripod gilt dolphin supports, the pierced covers with gilt sphinx finials, each marked in script "Flight Barr & Barr / Royal Porcelain Works / Worcester" andÿLondon address on bases, 7-3/4 x 5 in.; Provenance: Otto M. one withÿrepaired break to urn form (yellowing and flaking to interior), both with areas of gilt retouch at base of urn/top of stem, dolphin tails, and sphinx finials (possible repairs), one lid with crazing and faint hairline, some pinholes, one dolphin with anomaly toÿjaw (as made), and other possible flaws, light wear to bases
