19th Century, French Brass Compound Microscope in original box, with many cased accessories, extras lenses, three original eye-pieces, and three later eye pieces. Together with a hundreds of slides, slide making materials, lab equipment, animal and plant samples, fibers and other scientific items. Microscope appears excellent with good clear lenses, good function, etc. Engraved: Nachet Et Fils, 17 Rue St. Severin, Paris. The group was attic-stored for many decades and the boxes of slides and other items show it. The boxes are brittle, the slides are breaking down, and most of the items appear dusty and dry.
