Six volumes, octavo, modern three-quarter burgundy morocco with raised bands, gilt stamped with Churchill lion emblems. Includes The Gathering Storm; Their Finest Hour; The Grand Alliance; The Hinge of Fate; Closing the Ring; and Triumph and Tragedy.

Note: The Second World War is Churchill's account of the war that affirmed his place in history, both as a politician and a writer. Historical narrative and prose combine in this masterpiece for which Churchill was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1953.
