A THREE PIECE BELLE ÉPOQUE SPELTER AND GILT BRONZE MOUNTED ROUGE GRIOTTE GARNITURE, AUGUSTE MOREAU (French 1834-1917), SCULPTURE, SAMUEL MARTI, CLOCKWORKS, PARIS, CIRCA 1900, "La Victoire," stands with upheld laurel wreath and in her opposing hand a bouquet of exotic feather plumes, her outstretched wings brace a billowing wind, signed at base, "Aug. Moreau," on a shaped red marble centering a white enameled dial with painted bouquet within Arabic numeral hour and quarter-hour marks, the clockworks with pastille, "Samuel Marti, Medaille D'Or, Paris, 1900," and numbers 843 and 3-5, raised on a scrolling flame curled feet, together with a pair of pierced handled vases raised on matching ormolu-mounted rouge marble bases. Height: 26 1/4" Width: 14" Depth: 8" Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
