HARRY B. JACKSON (American 1924-2011) A BRONZE SCULPTURE, "The Marshall II," 1979, with a reddish toned dark brown patina on the nicely detailed Marshall with a serious intent expression wearing his hat, vest and western attire while holding aloft a rifle and masterfully handling the reins of his galloping steed, on a rectangular stylized groundwork base stamped with a square form stamp "WFS / ITALIA," inscribed "© Harry Jackson / 1979 / MA II / 37," including his thumbprint, raised on a conforming mottled cream and butterscotch hued marble plinth with canted corners centering an engraved brass plaque "THE MARSHALL II / HARRY JACKSON." Height: 16 1/2" Width: 17 1/2" Depth: 5 1/2" Provenance: Property belonging to Parmer and Aileen D. Freeman, Houston, Texas
