Description
AN ENGLISH WILLIAM AND MARY CARVED OAK FOUR DRAWER CHEST, LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY, the rectangular top within molded trim above drawers centering three stepped rectangular molded panels with ravelin style corners alternating vertical molded panels, each drawer separated by bobbin style carving and raised on a cantilevered molding plinth on later bun feet, fitted with later bronze pulls. Height: 40 1/2" Width: 42 1/4" Depth 23 1/4"
Condition
Normal surface buildup, age cracks, old repairs, fading, lacking some molding on top three drawers, expected marks, scratches, chips, warping and bronze hardware is of a later date.
