Containing volumes 1-3 of the original series spanning years 1948-1951, volumes 1-14 or the new series, with issues from 1955-1968, with one volume containing the covers of issues from 1955-1964. Contemporary gilt lettered red leather. Provenance: Ex. Collection of Arthur B. Rothwell, and from the library of Westland Oil Co (ink and pencil).

A well tended collection of periodicals from the mid-20th century relating to the collecting and connoisseurship of Asian art in the West, carefully bound with covers in an independent volume for reference. Formerly in the collection of Arthur B. Rothwell, and housed in library of Westland Oil Co., an oil firm run in partnership between Rothwell and Ling-Chieh Louis Kung, the nephew Soong Mei-ling.
