A late 19th century Winterhalder & Hofmeier bracket clock, retailed by Elkington & Co., London (England). 8-day time and strike movement with brass dial and Silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and cast spandrels, quarter hour "Bim-Bam" striking on two gongs. Walnut case with arched gallery top, above a Gothic style frieze and a single door, flanked by carved columns on a base with turned feet. Old finish with slight wear, minor damage, running when cataloged. 14 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-400
