Description
A choice Byzantine bronze coin set into a lovely silver bezel with chain. The coin is struck during the reign of Romanus III, AD 1028 - 1034, at Constantinople. The coin is set in a lovely .925 silver bezel and suspended on a 18-inch Italian silver chain. The coin depicts the facing bust of Christ holding book of gospels on the obverse and the reverse reads 'IS-XS/bAS-ILE/bAS-ILE' which translates to 'Jesus Christ King of Kings' above and below a cross.
