A Roman silver coin of emperor Titus. Imperial Rome, Titus, AD 79 - 81. AR Denarius. Rome. (18.35mm. 3.73g). TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG PM, his laureate head rt. / TR P IX IMP XV COS VIII PP, two bound captives seated back to back at the foot of a trophy. RIC 21a; RSC 306. A nice portrait of one of the 12 Caesars! Ex King collection, GA.
