Paris around 1880, "Der Mandolinspieler", extreme rare machine in very nice original condition, with opened mouth, modeled head made of papier mâché, both rows of teeth are made of porcelain, with glued on moustache over the mouth, the moustache is made of brown mohair , also under the row of eyelashes, looking down brown paperweight eyes, strongly modelled eyelids, fine modelled nose and chin, curly mohair wig, forearms made of bisque porcelain, holding  a mandolin in the hands, mandolin is made of wood, it plays 2 melodies, "Robin de Bois", "La Mascotte Galope",  the right hand plucks the strings, the head has several motions, silk robe with cape, silk  ispartially slightly worn, long thin formed legs, with silk tights, and silk shoes, the base with the Lambert-key is coated with patterned fabric , height: 56 cm, is fully intact

Paris um 1880, ?Der Mandolinspieler?, äußerst seltener Automat in sehr schönem Orig.-Zust., der mit off. Mund, modell. Kopf aus Papiermaché, beide Zahnreihen aus Porzellan, über den Mund ist Oberlippenbart aus braunem Mohair aufgeklebt, ebenso unter der Wimpernreihe, nach unten blickende, braune Paperweight-Augen, stark ausmodell. Augenlider, fein ausmodell. Nase u. Kinn, lockige Mohairperücke, Unterarme Biskuit-Porzellan, in den Händen haltend Mandoline aus Holz, aufgezogen spielt der Automat 2 Melodien, ?Robin de Bois?, ?La Mascotte Galope?, während des Spiels zupft die rechte Hand die Saiten, der Kopf verfügt über mehrere Bewegungen, Seidenrobe mit Cape, teilw. Seide etwas verschlissen, lange dünne, ausgeformte Beine, mit Seidenstrumpfhose, sowie Seidenschuhe, der Sockel mit dem Lambert-Schlüssel ist mit gemustertem Stoff überzogen, H: 56 cm, voll funktionstüchtig
