French Portrait Miniature on Bone, 18th c., of a lady in a bonnet, unsigned, possibly Andrew Plimer or Richard Cosway, in an oval 14K yellow gold pendant mount, verso with a blue glass plate inset with gold stars and tiny seed pearls, forming the initial "L" over "Amitie," verso with a backing from an invitation to Sadler Wells theater, from 1790, H.- 2 3/4 in., W.- 2 1/4 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Gertrude "Peggy" Logan Simpson Howcott, New Orleans, LA.
