Description
This is a lot of two countertop machines. The first is a one cent Busy Ball trade stimulator or counter game with design patent correlating to 1914. This is an exceptionally rare survivor with only one known example. There is a later example of this machine found with a cast metal cabinet but this is the only one seen in wood. Unknown manufacturer. Upon inserting a penny, the ball comes down and the player presses a handle on the right side and releases, shooting the ball onto the playfield where it bounces along metal tabs and settles in a numbered slot at the bottom. An early counter machine in original finish, original playfield, and a likely replaced back door. The second is an oak constructed penny drop in all original condition, with original pin field, original coin entry but no key to the front door. Shows signs of wear and use with some scratches and dings and holes where it was mounted to a counter. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: Larger: 21 - 1/4" x 14 - 1/4" x 10 - 1/2".
CORRECTION: Penny Drop has key.
