An extensive Chinese export porcelain famille rose dinner serviceLikely for the Brazilian market, circa 1800Each piece decorated with a small basket of flowers and a border of grape ivy with gilt rim; comprising twenty-nine dinner plates; twenty-one salad plates; seventeen soup plates; seven graduated oval platters of four sizes; two trencher salts; one each oval covered soup tureen, oval covered sauce tureen, large vegetable dish with two lids, small rectangular vegetable dish with two lids, and sauce boat and underplate; all unmarked.
