A group of three light canes Various dates late 19th/20th century Comprising a silver and hardwood light bulb cane, the release button revealing light bulb, the silver handle marked with French patent mark and an indistinct French silver mark, the handle unscrewing to compartment fitted with contemporary batteries to operate light bulb; a brass and hardwood light cane, the hammered brass handle releasing to reveal match safe compartment, the shaft releasing in two parts to reveal brass key and candle, the shaft faux painted bamboo; and a silvered metal and bamboo systems walking stick, the filigree handle opening to reveal a candle compartment above pop-up match safe, underside of hinged lid marked "Patent/No 2048."
