Attributed to Ernest Briggs, it does not have a COA. Beautiful abstract art painting. Medium: oil canvas, 17 x 14 inches. Provenance: private owner from New Jersey.

Biography: Ernest Briggs studied at the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design, San Francisco, 1946-1947 and the California School of Fine Arts, 1947-1951. Briggs co-founded Metart Galleries in San Francisco, 1949 and then in 1953 moved to New York.
