Tim Burton: Nightmare Before Christmas (Walt Disney, c. 1993). "Jack Skellington" reference maquette and coffin sleigh and trash can prop from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This lot consists of (1) Jack Skellington in Santa suite reference maquette constructed of hardened modeling compound expertly studio painted in acrylics and accented with white faux fur cuffs, hatband and beard, measuring 9x 7 inches. Also includes (1) coffin sleight prop constructed of balsa wood panes, vacuum form lid, aluminum coil rails, and metal and vacuum formed details airbrushed and hand-painted with some pencil notation to the surface of the coffin, measuring 15 x 7.5 x 5 inches, and (1) trash can prop constructed of vacuum formed components and cut aluminum sheet studio painted and distressed, measuring 7.5 in. round x 12 in. tall. All in production used fine condition. One-of-a-kind.
