A Sumerian, 2190 - 2000 B.C., terracotta foundation cone (clay nail) with 2/3's of the body having cuneiform text. Dicoidal shaped head with wide body that tapers to a point. The dedication text has been translated. See photo attached to the description. The display stand is included. 4-3/4" H Provenance: Ex private collection, New Jersey, acquired from the London art market, 1970's.
