Charles Agar (English, 1782-1854) & Joseph Maiden (English, 1813-1843). A large and exemplary antique Victorian equestrian etching, titled "The Bury Hunt," featuring an Early Victorian hunting landscape scene with 13 riders on horseback and three pedestrians with a profusion of hounds to foreground, and a forested hunting chase to the background. Legend below image with dedication to EDM[UND] GRUNDY ESQ., from the printer, Joseph Zanetti. Presented in a decorative matte. Good overall condition with some wear to frame. Measures 23 1/2 in. x 30 in. (sight), 30 in. x 37 in. (framed). Hill Auction Gallery will not ship. Gallery will refer a local shipper for international buyers.
