Description

Large Archive of Western Photographs by Stimson A collection of 29 large format silver gelatin photographs, each matted and inscribed to mat, as well as a substantial album of "Rocky Mountain National Park", dated from the 1930s-1940s, by amateur photographer George P. Stimson. The matted images are focused on Salt Lake City and its surrounds, with several images of Brigham Young and other reproductions of Mormon leaders; each matted image 10" x 14". Album is 16.5" x 18.5", with notes and numerous images.

Condition

Foxing and toning throughout, with yellowing to most images.
