circa 1988 etched signature 'Dali', etched mark 'Daum France' to underside of base, numbered '6 / 2950" and '9 / 2950' respectively with red glass bowl suspending three purple pate de verre glass elements on metal chains and resting on a purple pate de verre glass base, the vertical support formed as a surrealist interpretation of Mae West's nose and lips Literature: Daum, Clotilde Bacri, pages 244-245. Note: Marketing copy prepared by Daum that accompanied the vase from this series, "Chalice No. 157," read in part: "In 1988, Daum decided to revive a contract concerning shelved projects...This posthumous production initially comprises three sculptures and a line of ornaments including the "CALICE" vase.
