Memphis Design by Ettore Sottsass, Italy. Serial no. 6527, polymer casing. The Memphis style existed for only 6 years. This kind of item is usually just found in movie sets and in penthouses of creative luminaries such as Karl Lagerfeld. A telephone of this kind is exhibited in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
