BIOGRAPHY:
Alexander Heinrich Gregor Bochmann, called Gregor Bochmann the Elder, German painter (1850 Good Nehat / Estonia to 1930 Ratingen-Hosel near Dusseldorf), a pupil of Theodor Albert Sprengel in Reval, studied 1868-71 with Schiller.
