This exquisite piece was finely crafted of solid platinum, and are a rare find from this designer whose pieces are typically found in 18k yellow gold. The necklace is comprised of window style links which are each decorated with a flower detail, which are collectively embellished with approximately 2.40ctw VS1-VS2/F-G full and tapered baguette cut diamonds. Kieselstein-Cord was founded 1972 by photographer Berry Kieselstein-Cord. The designer has worked with Calvin Klein and Perry Ellis, and has been collected by Eric Clapton, Sir Elton John, Karl Lagerfeld, and many more. His work is in the permanent collections of The Louvre, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and others. The brand has been featured in publications such as Elle, Forbes, and Vogue, and has been featured on "Sex in the City", "Law & Order", and others. The necklace is signed "B. Kieselstein Cord", along with the platinum standard "PT950", the signature moon and star hallmark, and the date "1998". The necklace measures 16.5" in length and 0.75" wide.
