Description
Large American Brass Plated Figural Oil Lamp, late 19th c., by Plume and Atwood, Waterbury, Conn., the painted domed peachblow satin glass shade within an amber prism hung ring, on scrolled arms, to a relief putti support, on a tripodal base, H.- 34 1/2 in., Dia.- 19 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. One small hole in back right foot. Has not been wired. Minor fleabite chips on beads. Minor fleabite chips in top rim of lampshade. One small repair visible on decorative ornament above one of the arms. May contain leftover oil. Top of center vessel is open. A lovely example.
