Highly Decorative Tall Fan Back Hall Chair in carved rosewood, having a fully reticulated back frame with scroll and fern outer frame, surrounding an intertwined vine field, having a large central crest, with chip carved frame holding a Victorian floral petit point seat, raised on scrolled fern and feather front legs, sabre back legs, 17" seat, 52 1/2" back, 24" x 26 1/2". Some wear to upholstery, one bit of crest gone, crack in middle lower third of back. Stable.
