A FRENCH ROCOCO REVIVAL ORMOLU AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL FRAME, LATE 19TH CENTURY, of stylized heart form and with a dripping grottoesque "C" scrolls cartouche crest, enclosing a blue and white striped quatre-foil lozenge trellis panel, above nicely cast scrolled rocaille sides framing conforming polychrome enameled borders of stylized foliage and matching trellis over curling acanthus modeled feet, verso conforming brass panel backed with easel form stand. Height: 12" Width: 9 1/4" Provenance: Property from a Prominent River Oaks Estate Collection, Houston, Texas.
