AN INDIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF THE GODDESS PRAJNAPARAMITA, 20TH CENTURY, in the Tibetan style, the Buddhist/Hindu four arm goddess of wisdom, seated in vajrasana position on a beaded double lotus throne and wearing an elaborate five leaf crown before a swirling chignon, above pendulant earlobes centering a serene expression with downcast eyes over rows of necklaces, flanked by her back right hand holding aloft a rosary opposite her left holding a floral stem, above her primary hands in a prayer mudra enclosing an attribute before a svelte torso wearing a dhoti with engraved scrolling borders and wrapped in a celestial billowing scarf, verso underside two small Sanskrit inscriptions. Height: 15" Width: 9 1/4" Depth: 6"
Condition
Surface build up and green oxidized areas, water exposure residue, marks, scratches and small dings throughout. Probably sand casted.
