North America, United States, Southwest, ca. mid-20th century CE. A pair of hand-built wooden toy carts by prominent western artist Hollis Williford. Each cart has a rectangular form with vertical side poles joined along the top via horizontal bars as well as a pair of discoid wheels joined by an axle. The first cart has a straight pull bar extending from beneath the cart body, and that of the larger cart features a perpendicular yoke secured to the end. Size of largest (perpendicular yoke): 17.1" L x 7.75" W x 8.625" H (43.4 cm x 19.7 cm x 21.9 cm)
Provenance: private Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA collection; ex-Hollis Williford collection

Both carts have visible adhesive residue from construction, with minor abrasions to wheels and bodies, otherwise intact and very good. Great condition overall.
