An Edwardian sterling silver pedestal fruit bowl, Sheffield 1907 by James Dixon and Sons The hemispherical bowl with an everted pierced and gadrooned rim. The domed pedestal foot with pierced section of foliate scroll and gadrooned foot rim. The centre of bowl with engraved presentation inscription “Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club Captains Prize, 4th July 1965, presented by A. J. Preston, Winner Aubrey Jaffe”. Fully marked to edge and registered design number stamp 495815. Height – 18.2 cm / 7.2 inches Weight – 714 grams / 22.96 ozt
