It depicts, in a soft palette with a dreamlike quality, a woman wearing a dressing robe, reading the morning newspaper and seated at a table with teapot and other ceramic objects. Presented in a decorative gilt wooden frame. Unsigned. Includes pedigree photocopy of 1973 exhibition label from the PARRISH ART MUSEUM (Southampton, NY), which incorporates a photographic image of the work being displayed in its original interior setting.
