A large gourd shaped antique Chinese vase, with profuse decoration of flora in cobalt blue, green, red, and yellow. The main body has an encircling scene with a large peacock bird displaying spectacular plumage on one side, and a mythological fenghuang or Chinese Phoenix to the other, with celestial dragons and clouds encircling the stem, and additional fenghuang birds encircling the stem.
