Description
CI&L RR brass switch lock made by DAYTON MFG. CO. (this was a division of the famous passenger car builder Barney & Smith Car Company of Dayton, Ohio. They didn't make the switch from wooden passenger car construction to steel cars very well so they went out of business in the 1920's.) Very rare railroad and very rare manufacturer - and a beautiful item. CI&L was better known as the Monon RR - Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville.
