1894 Calender of western scenes, mostly Colorado and four scene involving railroads. By Knight, Leonard & Co., printers of Chicago. Beautiful color photos (probably tinted but it is first class if they did). All twelve months intact: Jan- Back Canon, Colorado with track in foreground; Utal scene – Pelican Bay, Gunnison Island, salt lake; Mt. Hood, Oregon; Marshall Pass, Colorado, with D&RG route obvious; a fish wheel boat – Columbia River; Wagon Wheel Gap – Colorado; Animas Canon, Colorado, with train (this is the present day Silverton Route); Estes Park, Colorado: Veta Pass with double headed locomotives, Colorado; Yellowstone Park, Tyghee Pass; Lake San Cristoval, Lake City, Colorado; Silverton and Ouray Toll Road, Colorado. This was the famous Otto Mears enterprise, before he build the Silverton Railroad and issued solid silver passes that sell for over $5000 each in 2020.
