Item Details

Description

Original antique 19th century oil painting on six panel screen. Depicts a labor movement protest inside a posh park setting with figures of well dressed men and women are seen in the foreground surrounded by groups of protesters. Early Australian flag can be seen flying on pole. Small boy can be seen in center with his dog two monkeys. Reverse side painted in hunter green. Unsigned mystery artist. Condition is good with surface wear and craquelure. Minor areas of paint loss to the edges of the panel. Overall measurement approximately 67 in. x 96 in.
