Description
American, probably New England, First half, 19th century. The domed cover with ball-shaped knop-handle, the rim of the jar with impressed band of latticework. The ovoid body with vivid glaze ranging from lime green to grass green, with splotches of manganese which have, in several areas, dripped down the vertical sides of the jar
