Condition
Like every piece of creamware in this collection, this ladle was Examined under UV Light: No apparent restorations. Tight discolored crack extends 1 3/4 in. down from edge of scalloped bowl visible from both sides. Another adjacent discolored tight crack extends 1 in down on exterior of bowl (not visible from interior). Two small glaze flakes at underside of shell, abrasion to scalloped edge of bowl resulting in multiple very minute glaze flakes along front edge of scalloped rim. A tiny glaze-flake on underside of end of handle. Kiln fritter has darkened the extremities in several areas.
