A Chinese Softwood Cabinet, Fangjiaogui
軟木雕夔龍方角櫃
of rectangular form, having a pair of pull-out doors inset with three panels, the upper two having openwork kuilong decoration, the lower panel carved with similar dragon design, the interior walls lacquered black and painted with auspicious objects, a large interior shelf and two pull-out drawers, all above straight aprons, resting on square sectioned feet.
Height 76 x width 38 x depth 17 1/2 in., 193 x 96.5 x 44.5 cm.

Overall decent and stable condition. Losses of lacquer on the inside of the cabinet. Age cracks on the interior shelves. Another age crack on the exterior of the lower section.
