ENGLISH IVORY DRESS CANE, CIRCA 1840
35-1/2 inches overall length of cane (90.2 cm)

The carved elephant ivory knob with crown on top, monogram, putti entwined with vines and fruit, and a wreath of leaves above Roman soldiers holding shields and sword; collar made from woven silver, snakewood shaft with brass ferrule.
