George Gilbert (1922-2012), born in New York City, was an American marketing professional, photographer, writer on photography, and a collector of antique photographic equipment and memorabilia. As a writer, he also used the pseudonyms Gil Jordan and Pam Stevens. He was a member of the Photo League, a cooperative of amateur and professional photographers that existed from 1936 to 1951 in New York City.
