Description
Title: Christmas II.
Artist: Richard Kemble (1932 - 2007)
Woodcut, 1971.
Edition 60.
Signed, titled and dated in pencil. Inscribed "42/60."
Image size 4 1/8 x 6 9/16" (10.4 x 16.7 cm).
This is an edition Christmas "card" sent by Kemble to a fellow artist. The woodcut was not actually folded into a typical card format and is instead more of a gift print.

Kemble taught at the University of Buffalo, N. Y., and later at Pratt Institute in New York City. He was awarded one of the first printmaker's fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1974.
