Rare Japanese silver mounted parquetry cabinet, Possibly late Edo Period (c. 1850), veneered on all sides with patchwork and geometric veneers in elm, Japanese oak, macassar ebony, and fruitwood, with silver metal hinges and lock, the two hinge doors opening to veneered and black lacquered drawers, over a single long drawer, with photocopied family history, 40"h x 41"l x 21"d
