As for your quiry, I cannot now remember to what I was referring: mostly, I think, to poems of minor contemporary poets who have passed out of mind. One dragon poem, though not strictly allied, appears in Pilgrim's Regress by C. S. Lewis. There is another called "Iumonna Gold Galdre Bewunden', in the Oxford Magazine, March 4th 1937..." Together with a typed letter, signed Humphrey Carpenter, thanking Prof. Woolf for sending a copy of this letter, but unable to use it in his proposed volume of Tolkien's letters.
