Pair of Louis XVI style gilt bronze chenets, late 19th/early 20th century, each chenet surmounted by a flambeau finial above double handled urns resting on fluted columns centered with cartouches of Classical Muses, throughout with acanthus and rosette details and floral swag garlands, the fender supports with flambeau finials. 17.5" H x 12" W x 7.75" D. Wear. Provenance: From the estate of American film producer Martin Bregman (Scarface, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon). Removed from his Park Avenue apartment decorated by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.
