Description
This is an antique Tibetan Monkey skull kapala embellished with ornate silver decorations and beads. A kapala (Sanskrit for "skull") or skull cup is a cup made from a human or monkey skull and used as a ritual implement in both Hindu Tantra and Buddhist Tantra (Vajrayana). This Monkey skull measures 5 inches long x 4.5 inches tall and was part of the permanent display at the Metamora Museum of Oddities, Metamora Indiana.
