Two Chinese Famille Rose Export Plates. The first painted with a courtly figure seated by an attendant holding a fan and a boy holding a box in an outdoor setting, all below a purple-ground diaper frieze with floral cartouches alternating with foliate roundels; the second decorated with the Sanxing and a young attendant under the pine tree below a gilt rim, the base inscribed with a four-character square mark in red. One dated 18th century. {Diameter of the first: 9 inches (23 cm)}. Condition: The first with chips and hairlines.
