Large Chinese Baluster Porcelain Vase. Of baluster form, sweeping up from a splayed foot to a waisted neck and wide flared mouth, decorated around the body with a continuous landscape with the Eight Daoist Immortals, the Sanxing and young attendants below five immortals on clouds, the neck further painted with figures in an outdoor setting, the shoulder with a brocade frieze with four reserves of auspicious articles between horizontal bands of upright lappets and ruyi pendants interrupted by a six-character horizontal inscription in blue. {Height: 22 3/4 inches (57.5 cm)}. Condition: Crack and hairline to the base.
