Rare Hummel, Sunny Morning, originally "Slumber Serenade". Modeled 1955 by Arthur Moeller. Painted by Gunther Neubauer 2/56. This is a prototype. Not yet released for production as of 11/1/99. Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so.
